Visit your app store to download the AteMate app. Once you have downloaded and started the app, tap on "I am working with a Coach" on the first screen and enter the 8-character Coach Code you have received from your coach. This will take you to a welcome and connect screen from your coach. If you miss the button on the first screen, you can also access it from the top menu (...) on the subscription screen.

If you have received an invite code from a Coach, tap on "Friends" in the bottom navigation bar > tap on "..." in the upper bar > Connect with others. From here tap on "Enter their code" and type in the 8-character code. Once done, tap "Add Connection". If the coach code is correct, the profile of your Coach will pop up to confirm the connection, and you will be connected with your Coach. They will be able to start following your path and all additional components that you have added to your AteMate journal as well.

If your coach has a coach account with us and they sent you their coach invite code, they will take over the Coach page once you have connected with them. This is where you will be able to chat with them.

In settings, under My Connections, you'll see your coach listed. On the coach profile view, tap on connection setting to turn on the message notifications from your coach.

Note: This is also where you can disconnect from a coach if you are done working with them (if they do not disconnect you themselves).

To chat with your Coach, simply go to Coach page in the lower navigation bar.
