Coach: How to refresh your browser cache on the Coach Dashboard

If the Coach Dashboard isn't showing the latest updates, a quick browser cache refresh usually fixes it. Learn how to do it in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on Mac and Windows.

If the Coach Dashboard looks different than expected, a feature isn't loading, or you're seeing an older version of the app, refreshing your browser cache usually resolves it. AteMate releases updates frequently, and a cached version of the dashboard can sometimes prevent the latest version from loading correctly.

What is a browser cache?

Your browser saves copies of web pages to load them faster. Occasionally this saved version conflicts with a new update. A hard refresh forces your browser to load the latest version directly from the server.

Chrome

Mac: Command + Shift + R

Windows: Ctrl + Shift + R

Safari (Mac only)

Mac: Command + Option + R

Alternatively: Hold Shift and click the Refresh button in the address bar.

Firefox

Mac: Command + Shift + R

Windows: Ctrl + Shift + R

Edge

Mac: Command + Shift + R

Windows: Ctrl + Shift + R

Tips

  • If a hard refresh doesn't resolve the issue, try clearing your full browser cache. In most browsers, go to Settings, find Privacy or History, and select Clear Browsing Data.

  • Make sure your browser is up to date. Older browser versions can sometimes cause display issues independently of caching.
